As a father of a one-year old this topic has grown increasingly important in my life over the past year. I have taken car safety for granted, but now that it involves the well-being of my son it adds a new level of meaning.

Here are some child safety features that parents might consider when purchasing a car: 1) Automatic Door Locks, 2) Side impact air bags, 3) Interior trunk release, 4) Rearview cameras, 5) Advanced frontal air bags, 6) Push-down/ pull-up window switches, and 7) Anti-pinch windows.
